The Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher provides high-quality, standards-based instruction to students in grades 6–8 in a fully online Colorado public school. The teacher is responsible for delivering engaging virtual instruction aligned with the Colorado Academic Standards, monitoring student progress, fostering strong relationships with students and families, and supporting academic achievement in a diverse online learning environment. The ideal candidate is committed to student success, skilled in virtual instruction, and passionate about helping middle school students develop strong literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills. This position is remote and requires candidates who reside in Colorado. The Middle School English Language Arts teacher is a highly qualified, state certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. Middle School Science teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs. Science teachers monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system. They actively work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to advance each student’s learning toward established goals. Middle School Science teachers typically work from home but must travel occasionally throughout the year to various school functions, such as state testing or as otherwise required by the school.
