About The Position
As a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher at Stratford School, you will implement a comprehensive curriculum fostering language proficiency, critical thinking, and literacy skills among students in grades 6 through 8.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in middle school or upper elementary grades
- Knowledge of language arts curriculum standards and instructional strategies
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment
