About The Position
Coaches, organizes, and supervises a certain sport; does related work as required. Sports include: Basketball, Cross Country, Flag Football, Soccer, Track, Volleyball.
Requirements
- Personal skills that reflect positive relations with middle school students, parents, and the community.
- Knowledge of the principles of individual and team fundamentals of the listed sports.
- Ability to organize and prepare practice schedules.
- Ability to develop a solid discipline that emphasizes teamwork and good sportsmanship.
- Ability to secure cooperation and communication with students and adults.
- Dependability, initiative, and resourcefulness.
Responsibilities
- Coaches, organizes, and supervises a certain sport.
- Gives instruction on the particular sport that is being offered, including teaching skills, running drills, scrimmages, and games.
- Teaches sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness to all students.
- Organizes and prepares practice schedules.
- Develops a solid discipline that emphasizes teamwork and good sportsmanship.
