About The Position

In this role, you will work with State Street teams across the globe to support premier investment management clients. You will have immediate responsibility for overseeing day-to-day accounting, lifecycle and trade-related activities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role requires strong client focus, operational discipline, and the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities. You will serve as a first line of defense in identifying and escalating potentially risky activity while ensuring accuracy across client and transaction data. Working closely with internal partners and external stakeholders, you will contribute to a high-visibility team focused on delivering exceptional client service and implementing innovative, efficient solutions that enhance how State Street serves its clients.

Requirements

  • Exposure to asset management, banking operations, or financial services environments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly self-driven, with the ability to take direction, problem-solve independently, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
  • Adaptability when priorities shift, with the ability to work independently and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • 2–4+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business-related major, Accounting, or Finance preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with trading platforms and VBA, SQL, Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource within the assigned business unit to resolve complex operational and client-related issues involving clients, counterparties, custodians, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate information across client trading platforms, and internal records.
  • Deliver high-quality service through timely follow-up, proactive communication, and serving as a trusted operational partner to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research, analyze, and respond efficiently to internal and external client inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Support the Operations team by managing and resolving actions across all client types using approved systems and custodian platforms.
  • Perform processing and control-related tasks as required to support daily processing routines and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare, complete, review, and validate standard and ad hoc client reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Apply data analytics and application knowledge to identify and create solutions to improve processing
