About The Position
This is a 1.0 FTE contract position for a Middle Level Physical Education and Post Intensive French Teacher at John Caldwell School for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants will be contacted by the school's principal and/or Director of Schools to discuss the position details and any available transitional support. Hiring will follow the order specified in Article 61.03 and 61.05 of the Collective Agreement: Teachers with Recall Rights, Certified Teachers (without recall rights), and Supply teachers with a Local Permit. Applicants are required to upload a single PDF document containing a cover letter, resume, most recent performance review, transcripts, and three references, including the most recent supervisor.
Requirements
- Certified Teacher status.
- Recall Rights (priority for hiring).
- Supply teacher with a Local Permit (if applicable).
- Ability to teach Middle Level Physical Education.
- Ability to teach Post Intensive French.
- Submission of a cover letter.
- Submission of a resume.
- Submission of the most recent performance review.
- Submission of transcripts.
- Submission of 3 references, with one being the most recent supervisor.
Responsibilities
