The company is seeking an experienced and engaging Math Tutor to support middle school and high school students in Mandeville. Requirements

Strong understanding of middle and high school math curriculum
Previous tutoring or teaching experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to students’ homes in the Mandeville area
You hold a current, valid registration with the New Orleans Department of Education.
You’re a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
You’re a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one tutoring in middle and high school math subjects (including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and advanced topics as needed)
Develop customized lesson plans based on each student’s learning style and academic needs
Help students improve problem-solving skills, study habits, and test preparation strategies
Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and the Prep Academy Tutors team
Foster a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment
