Middle DevOps Engineer

Sigma Software

About The Position

Design, implement, and support production infrastructure in AWS or Microsoft Azure as part of a team helping a telecommunications customer migrate applications to cloud infrastructure and modernize DevOps practices. The work focuses on scalable, secure infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and administration best practices that reduce costs and improve efficiency. The role involves collaborating with the customer and team to deliver solutions that meet business needs, while taking ownership of an area of responsibility and delivering results. Build and maintain Terraform infrastructure, develop CI/CD pipelines, deploy and support containerized workloads, configure cloud security and networking, and implement observability solutions. Investigate production incidents across cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and application runtime layers, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes. Review peer changes, clarify requirements, translate them into infrastructure solutions, and maintain technical documentation and operational reporting aligned with production environments.
