About The Position

The Mid Shift Flatwork/DryFold position is essential in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of flat linens and dry folded items within a laundry or linen service facility. This role focuses on operating specialized machinery to fold, sort, and prepare linens for distribution while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth workflow during the mid shift, collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot folding and ironing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work effectively in a team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are applied daily to operate complex folding and ironing machines accurately, ensuring linens meet quality standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks enable the candidate to maintain consistent productivity throughout the mid shift.
• Effective communication skills facilitate coordination with team members and supervisors, ensuring smooth operations and timely problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatwork ironers and dry folding machines to process linens efficiently and accurately.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and resolve any operational issues.
