About The Position

The Flatwork Feeder is responsible for providing quality service and products to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role involves feeding linen into various ironers, adhering to standard operating procedures for each machine, and inspecting each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wear. The position requires meeting quality and production standards.

Requirements

• Be on time.

• Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise.
• Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to feed ironers.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Feed linen into various ironers.
• Follow standard operating procedures for each machine.
• Inspect each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
• Meet quality and production standards.
• Cross-train in other positions per production needs.
• Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit.
