As a Mid-Market Account Executive, the role involves seeking out new customers and demonstrating how Box can address their content management and collaboration needs. The successful candidate will have experience in prospecting, conducting discovery calls/demos, negotiating, and closing new business, with an understanding of various use cases and the ability to sell across multiple departments and industries. The position requires a proactive approach to new business development and building relationships with potential customers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Proven ability to learn new technology and products
  • Have clear examples of closing deals using a proven sales process
  • Effectively uses a repeatable method for uncovering greenfield opportunities and building out a new territory
  • Previous experience building relationships and selling to C level executives
  • Expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Source and close net new logos as well as working with existing customers within a given territory, across all verticals, in the Mid-Market segment (500-2000 employees)
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan
  • Conduct research to understand your customers and prospects, gaining insight into their business challenges and the value proposition of Box
  • Influence and drive the sales process while managing stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to advance deals and ensure customer success
  • Visit territories to meet customers in person
