About The Position

Energy Talent Search is conducting a confidential search for a Mid -Market Account Executive on behalf of an established software company based in Austin, Texas. This organization provides software solutions that help businesses improve financial reporting, analytics, and operational decision -making. As the company continues to expand its customer base and pursue larger strategic opportunities, it is seeking an experienced sales professional who can drive revenue growth and successfully close new business. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven SaaS Account Executive who enjoys building relationships with executive decision makers, managing complex sales cycles, and owning opportunities from initial prospecting through signed contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new customer relationships, generating pipeline, advancing opportunities through the sales process, and consistently closing business. The company is specifically seeking someone who takes pride in winning deals, leading commercial discussions, and delivering measurable revenue results.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of quota -carrying B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Demonstrated history of successfully closing complex software transactions
  • Proven ability to manage opportunities from prospecting through signed contract
  • Strong track record of exceeding quota through new customer acquisition and closed business
  • Experience leading contract negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Proven ability to independently drive opportunities to close (REQUIRED)
  • Experience selling directly to CFOs, Controllers, Vice Presidents, and C -Suite decision makers
  • Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline generation experience
  • Experience managing complex multi -stakeholder sales processes
  • Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Experience managing a full -cycle sales process
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow -up
  • Build relationships with CFOs, Controllers, Finance Leaders, and Executive Decision Makers
  • Manage opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle from discovery through close
  • Conduct business -focused discovery conversations to identify customer challenges and objectives
  • Navigate complex buying processes involving multiple stakeholders
  • Coordinate presentations, demonstrations, and customer evaluations
  • Lead pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract execution
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting within Salesforce
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Drive opportunities to successful close while delivering an exceptional customer experience
