Mid-Level Windows System Administrator
About The Position
The Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) team provides and employs best practices when implementing security requirements within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques to protect classified and proprietary information. The selected candidate’s opportunities include development and integration of a variety of system hardware and software application(s) supporting our engineering and manufacturing teams. Working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results, this position requires a positive attitude, self-motivation, the ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
- Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
- 3+ years of experience administering user system access and establishing safeguards to protect information to meet network security requirements
- 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2016 - 2019 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 10
- Experience working on classified networks
- 3+ years of experience working within the DoD Risk Managed Framework (RMF)
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Nice To Haves
- Experience troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Experience with active directory (AD) to include applying domain group policies
- Experience in Agile Methodologies
- Experience with upgrades and patches for operating systems and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software
- Experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
- Experience developing PowerShell scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets, automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
