About the position
We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience in QA Automation and manual tests. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and testing intuition to help improve our products. They will be responsible for manual testing, bug tracking, creating and maintaining automated regression test suites, and providing production support for software products. The candidate should be structured, organized, and flexible, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration with teams and individuals are also required. Technical requirements include experience in continuous testing and load and performance testing.
Responsibilities
- Do manual testing to help the team with specific features
- Log, document, and track bugs in the defect management system
- Create and maintain current automated regression test suites, (functional and performance) and creating new automated tests for new feature work
- Suggest new approaches to existing or planned testing that leads to a more scalable, reliable, and usable framework
- Provide detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests
- Provide production support for software products by investigating and recreating reported defects.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in QA Automation and manual tests, including industry best practices
- Autonomy, learning fast, identifying and expressing opinions on ideal test design techniques and discussing and explaining to a peer-level tester
- Ability to interpret requirements from various technical documents and specifications
- Experience with UI and backend testing
- Structured and organized yet flexible enough to thrive with changing requirements and schedules
- Analytical approach to issues and finds problem solving both fun and rewarding
- Strong English communication and clear articulation of ideas and concepts, both verbally and writing
- Collaborative with teams and individuals to both clarify and understand the user needs and technical capabilities
- Experience in continuous testing
