Wendel is currently seeking a mid-level Interior Designer to join our Richmond, VA office. Our interiors team works across multiple markets, including corporate, healthcare, higher education, transportation, and government, providing exposure to diverse and engaging projects. Position Overview: This full-time position is ideal for a motivated, design-driven professional who is eager to contribute, collaborate, and grow. The Interior Designer will manage the design and completion of commercial interior projects from programming through construction administration, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design is required
  • 6–14 years of professional interior design experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam Revu
  • Strong working knowledge of building codes
  • Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 3D rendering experience preferred
  • Experience with InDesign, SketchUp, and Photoshop is a plus
