About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Electrical Engineering Technical Designer to join the Lab Operations team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position works under general direction and supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities. The role involves building and maintaining products from the installation to maintenance phase and coordinating activities with internal partners and working groups. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
Requirements
- Experience using power measurement test and measurement instrumentation (such as power supplies, power meters, and analyzers)
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting utilizing volt‑ohm meters and electrical system drawings
- Experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
