About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for monitoring daily traffic entering and leaving the Tyson Berry Street facility, answering the phone and transferring calls, and maintaining constant communication with plant management, truck drivers, vendors, Berry Street customers, and Team Members as necessary. This position will be responsible for lot checks of trailers during their designated hours. This position is also responsible for monitoring what is being brought into and out of the facility and enforcing Tyson policy if needed. Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor. The Main Guard shack runs 4 shifts in order to have 24-hour coverage (A, B, C, D schedule) and shift assignment will be determined upon job offer.

Requirements

6 Months of relevant work experience that correlates with job duties required
Basic computer skills
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate under stressful situations
There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members
Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

Previous security or data entry experience preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
