This role involves meeting and instructing assigned classes, planning a program of study that meets individual student needs, and creating a classroom environment conducive to learning. The instructor will prepare for classes, guide the learning process towards curriculum goals, and employ various instructional techniques. They will strive to implement the district's philosophy of education, assess student accomplishments, and diagnose learning disabilities. The position also requires making precautions to protect students and materials, maintaining accurate records, and assisting administration with policies and student conduct. The instructor will also be available to students and parents, plan assignments for teacher aides and volunteers, and strive to improve professional competence. Additionally, the role requires demonstrating the ability to communicate in more than one language or the willingness to learn, and performing other assigned duties while maintaining regular attendance.
