About The Position

We are seeking a Microwave Technician for our first shift manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating and/or modifying complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies. The technician will follow specific instructions for wire and ribbon bonding using various manual and automatic bonding machines, or utilize an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine. Responsibilities also include substrate attach (duroid/ceramic), MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors, soldering, and eutectic die attach. The role requires working with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens, and sheet epoxies, primarily for attaching substrates to modules/housings, and handling a wide variety of adhesives and epoxies.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of work experience or equivalent experience required in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and in a team

Nice To Haves

Active security clearance
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Microelectronics wire bonding

Responsibilities

Fabricating and/or modifying complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine
Perform substrate attach (duroid/ceramic), MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors, soldering skills and eutectic die attach
Work with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings)
Work with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's
