About The Position

Microsoft Solutions Specialists (MSS) play a critical role in supporting the success of our customers. As part of Connection's Microsoft Center of Excellence, our Microsoft Solution Specialists function as a dedicated Microsoft resource supporting our Business Solutions Group. This role involves consulting with customers and sales teams, providing recommendations for Microsoft solutions that best fit customer goals, delivering industry-based insights, managing contract lifecycles for Enterprise Agreements, producing cost analysis and quotes, and engaging in opportunity conversations to position Connection's professional and managed services.

Requirements

Knowledge of Microsoft lifecycle and renewals process
Advanced MS Suite user skills
Strong negotiation skills

Ability to efficiently manage competing priorities

Responsibilities

Functions as a dedicated consultative resource for Sales, Sales leadership, and customers focused on Microsoft solutions providing recommendations that best fit the goals of the customer.
Delivers industry-based insights to our customers focusing on pain points leading to Microsoft modern solutions.
Manages contract lifecycle for Enterprise Agreements to ensure subscription reconciliation, on-time placement of true-up, additional product and renewal orders.
Produces cost analysis, product quotes and pricing visibility for Enterprise Agreements in partnership with Sales.
Engages in Microsoft opportunity conversations with customers to build additional value and position Connection professional and managed services.
