We believe teamwork is the best way to serve our customers. Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Microsoft Solutions Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft products, partner management, sales collaboration, customer interaction as well as Microsoft Incentives programs. This role works closely with the sales and marketing teams to support business growth, assist with partner program operations, and provide technical and customer support. The position contributes to go-to-market execution and operational effectiveness while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a solutions specialist role focused on Microsoft technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Solutions, Products and Licensing Structure.
• Experience supporting partner programs, incentives, or Microsoft partnership operations preferred.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or MCP are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Partner Center, including managing designations, specializations, and CPOR submittals.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft incentive and investment programs such as Co-op funds and ECIF.

Responsibilities

• Manage Opkalla’s Microsoft Status to ensure effective utilization of partnership benefits, designations, specializations, and competencies, including: Ensure Opkalla retains all Microsoft Designations and Specializations. Ensure all Opkalla employees maintain current Microsoft certifications and obtain new ones as directed. Maintain accurate and timely CPOR (Claiming Partner of Record) submittals. Facilitate all leads from Microsoft, including Fast Track and Marketplace leads. Ensure all qualified opportunities receive a Proof of Execution (POE) and work with Technical Advisors to obtain client signatures. Manage Co-op fund balances and submittals. Manage all ECIF opportunities. Ensure Opkalla remains compliant with Microsoft requirements and follows Microsoft-defined processes at all times. Review Microsoft updates and announcements, and communicate relevant information to the appropriate Opkalla parties. Track all items and provide monthly reporting and metrics.
• Facilitate Microsoft opportunities through to close for both new and renewal business. Keep the team updated on current and future opportunities, assist the team in planning timelines for new and renewal business, and monitor the sales pipeline and upcoming renewals. Facilitate Microsoft sync (Msync) meetings to drive information sharing and coordinate this opportunity-management work, for both new and renewal business, across the team.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop collateral and messaging supporting Microsoft solution offerings and differentiation.
• Stay current on Microsoft technologies, licensing models, and competitive positioning to support sales conversations and internal alignment.
• Monitor and report key performance metrics related to Microsoft solutions including pipeline activity, partner engagement, support trends, customer satisfaction, and other metrics as directed.
