About The Position

The Center for Workforce Development (CWD) is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Instructor to prepare students for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)® suite of exams. San Juan College may approve remote or hybrid work for adjunct employees within New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Texas (states subject to change at any time). All requests for remote work must be approved in advance by the Director and Human Resources. Remote work options for locations outside of the United States are not permitted. CWD non-credit instructors report to the Director of the Community Learning Center. Instructors are responsible for course development, teaching and classroom management. Instructors are expected to assist with marketing their classes, with approval for all marketing from the Community Learning Center Director.

Requirements

  • Active MOS Associate® certification in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • At least 1 year of teaching, corporate training, or public speaking.
  • Access to home internet, a personal computer, and telephone is required.
  • Demonstrates skill and willingness to learn and use multiple technology platforms to communicate with students.
