About The Position

As the Microsoft Ecosystem Business Development Director, you are responsible for driving strategic growth across Accenture’s Microsoft business by originating, shaping, and advancing opportunities centered on Microsoft’s AI, Data, Customer Experience, Security, and Industry platforms. You are a trusted advisor to clients, Microsoft leadership, and Accenture account teams, bringing deep expertise across Microsoft technologies including CoPilot, Microsoft Fabric, Agent365, Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft offerings. You drive executive-level conversations focused on business transformation, AI adoption, data modernization, customer engagement, and industry reinvention while positioning the combined value of Microsoft and Accenture.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of business development, sales, alliance, or consulting experience.
  • 10+ years of complex pursuit management and opportunity development experience.
  • Experience selling or shaping enterprise technology transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of AI, analytics, data, customer experience, or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Proven executive relationship management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with selling Microsoft Copilot, Github, Fabric and other Microsoft technologies/offerings.
  • Experience originating and shaping AI, Generative AI, data modernization, analytics, or customer experience transformation initiatives in partnership with Microsoft.
  • Experience working with Global 2000 organizations.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage CIOs, CDAOs, CTOs, CISOs, COOs, and Line-of-Business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute joint Accenture-Microsoft growth strategies and co-sell motions for assigned accounts/clients.
  • Build executive relationships with Microsoft Partner Development Managers, Customer Engineers, Industry Leaders, and Account Teams.
  • Originate opportunities involving Microsoft Technologies.
  • Work closely with Accenture and Avanade Microsoft leadership team to drive pipeline growth.
  • Lead executive workshops, innovation sessions, and value realization discussions.
  • Develop business cases and ROI narratives that align technology investments to measurable business outcomes.
  • Influence Microsoft leadership to position Accenture as the preferred transformation partner.
  • Create differentiated industry solutions, thought leadership, and joint offerings aligned to Microsoft priorities.
  • Enable Accenture and Microsoft field teams on joint value propositions and strategic growth plays.
