About The Position

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Microsoft 365 Collaboration Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing governance models, lifecycle management processes, and automation frameworks to enhance operational efficiency. The engineer will administer AvePoint Cloud Governance, lead data migration and modernization projects, drive the remediation of InfoPath solutions, and develop PowerShell scripts and low-code solutions. Collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Business Partners is essential, as is monitoring service health and supporting AI-driven capabilities within Microsoft 365. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SharePoint Online administration and governance.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with AvePoint Cloud Governance tools.
  • Experience with ShareGate or equivalent migration tools.
  • Proven record of implementing governance frameworks and process improvements.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • Familiarity with retention/sensitivity labels and lifecycle management policies.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level SharePoint migrations and governance programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as SME for SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams within Microsoft 365.
  • Design, implement, and optimize governance models, lifecycle management processes, and automation frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Administer and enhance AvePoint Cloud Governance, including policy enforcement, automation, and reporting.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements and automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service efficiency.
  • Lead data migration and modernization projects using tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, and native Microsoft migration utilities.
  • Drive the remediation and retirement of InfoPath solutions, migrating forms and workflows into Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and low-code solutions for automation and governance workflows.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Business Partners to align solutions with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor service health, troubleshoot issues, and lead incident/problem management activities.
  • Support AI-driven capabilities and next-generation automation within Microsoft 365.
