About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Microservices Developer. This is a Full-Time, 6-month contract position located onsite in Maryland Heights, MO. As a Microservices Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing microservices-based applications, performing unit testing, and ensuring the quality of developed microservices. You will also create and maintain technical and system documentation, follow the company's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, and prepare technical design specifications. Collaboration with cross-functional development teams and participation in architecture, design, and code reviews are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and code quality best practices.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and software engineering principles.
• Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience creating technical design documents and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience participating in architecture, design, and code review processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance microservices-based applications.
• Perform unit testing and ensure the quality of developed microservices.
• Create and maintain technical and system documentation related to development work.
• Follow the company's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes for design, coding, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
• Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents and provide technical feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure code quality, consistency, and successful project delivery.
• Participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Maintain operational and system-level documentation for applications and services.
