The Microsection Inspection Prep performs the testing of products within the dry lab department. This role involves daily preparation and completion of work, including the ability to work with chemicals such as alcohol and acrylics. The position requires knowledge of different microsections and the performance of product testing, along with the completion of all associated documentation. Key responsibilities include regular communication with supervisors and managers, suggesting procedural changes, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and reporting safety hazards and issues. The role also involves generating, accumulating, and handling hazardous wastes as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager, and reporting all accidents, near misses, and safety concerns. Employees must perform their job duties utilizing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate fully in safety training, understanding and following directions from Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts. The position offers the ability to train on 1st shift.
