About The Position

The Microsection Inspection Prep performs the testing of products within the dry lab department. This role involves daily preparation and completion of work, including the ability to work with chemicals such as alcohol and acrylics. The position requires knowledge of different microsections and the performance of product testing, along with the completion of all associated documentation. The role also includes regular communication with supervisors and managers, suggesting procedural changes, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and reporting safety hazards and issues. Additionally, the role involves generating, accumulating, and handling hazardous wastes as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager, and reporting all accidents, near misses, and safety concerns. Employees must perform their job duties utilizing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate fully in safety training, understanding and following directions from Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts. There is an opportunity to train on 1st shift.

Requirements

  • Has basic English and mathematical skills.
  • Has presentation skills, computer skills, and has general interpersonal skills.
  • Reads and understands procedures and blue prints.
  • Works up to 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, and is flexible to work on weekends.
  • Standing up to 8 hours per day.
  • Has good reading vision, hearing perception, and able to speak clearly.
  • Has fine motor skills and rapid mental-muscular coordination.
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Processors and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in the preparation and completion of work on a daily basis.

  • Works on micro sections, and has knowledge of different micro sections.
  • Performs the testing of the products and the completion of all documentation involved.
  • Communicates regularly to supervisors and managers, suggests and composes procedural changes, maintains a clean, safe work environment, and communicates to supervisors safety hazards and issues.
  • Generates, accumulates, and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.
  • Responsibilities include the reporting of all accidents, near misses and safety concerns.
  • Perform their job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.
