Requirements
- Must be willing to learn. This person will need to have an attitude of always willing to learn something new.
- Read and communicate in English.
- Computer skills; Windows navigation, Word to view files, enter data in Excel, PowerPoint to view files, Outlook for email communication and calendar, Teams for communications, ERP system navigation, view PDF files, and ability to operate custom test software.
- Steady hands / dexterity under Microscope.
- Ability to read and interpret various forms of documentation including assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Follow established procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to solder small components using magnification with both magnifier and microscope preferred.
- Experience with fine detailing under a microscope, preferred.
- Experience soldering gold wire, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform bonding operations on small components
- Perform fine soldering operations
- Perform fine wire shaping and forming operations
- Use magnifying devices(microscopes) for soldering operations
- Apply sealant and coatings
- Perform incidental mechanical assembly
- Refer to drawings, diagrams or schematics as guide for performing tasks
- Operate test equipment including environmental chambers, voltmeter, and a variety of other equipment.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles for daily continuous improvement activities.
- Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
