About The Position

Seeking a Senior Applications Engineer with deep technical expertise in IC design and characterization and strong technical communication skills to support customer engagements and develop comprehensive product documentation. The role serves as a technical bridge between design teams, customers, and business development organizations. The engineer creates technical specifications, characterization data, application guidelines, datasheets, application notes, design guides, and reference designs for ASIC and standard product offerings. The role also supports customers through design reviews, presentations, training, pre-sales and post-sales assistance, and troubleshooting. The position analyzes silicon measurement data, validates performance against specifications, defines and executes IC characterization test plans across process, voltage, and temperature corners, and supports failure analysis and root-cause investigations. It involves collaboration with design, test engineering, marketing, and sales teams on product performance, positioning, product definition, customer feedback, and customer engagements. This is a remote position. The work includes collaboration across engineering, marketing, and sales; occasional lab work for IC characterization and testing; and possible travel to customer sites or industry conferences (10–20%). Some programs may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required due to ITAR restrictions on technical data.
