About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our team at the Technical Services Center as a Microbiology Lab Intern (Part-time hours). Training will be provided. Selection will depend on class schedule and available hours to work.

Requirements

• At least a sophomore in the microbiology, biotechnology, or biology program.
• Minimum of 12 hours available per week to work.

Responsibilities

• Media preparation, anaerobic tube counts, plate counts, sugar sampling, wastewater, and special survey samples.
• PCR special projects.
• Chemistry work including NIR, polarimeter, refractometer, etc.
• Other project work that may become available.
