About The Position

The Micro Space Planner is responsible for the design, analytics, administration, and execution of the planogram process in its entirety. This role will train, advise, and consult the Category Management team, Supply Chain, and vendors on planogram processes, software, standards, and reports. The incumbent is able to interpret merchandising needs, translate them into space planning activities, and relate it back to the store environment. This is a fast-paced environment with changing business needs that require an excellent understanding of the JDA Category Management Suite with the ability to facilitate change and be creative. The role requires the ability to prioritize and work on a number of projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in order to achieve desired results.

Requirements

• Minimum of College Diploma
• JDA Category Management Certification
• Minimum 2-3 years of working within JDA Category Management Suite
• Strong Analytical, Communication and Presentation skills
• Shown ability to lead multiple internal and external partners to coordinate and execute activities
• Problem solving and process management skills
• Strong time management and organization skills
• The ability to multi-task and adapt to change
• Creative and enthusiastic
• Proficient with MS Office suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Accountable for creation and management of Category Planogram Schedules for their areas of responsibilities, ensuring all achievements are completed on time by all cross functional partners in order to deliver accurate Planograms in store on time.
• Lead Planogram pre-planning and kick off meetings in order to share planogram process timelines, set up guidelines, identify fixture and signing needs, and any potential obstacles for dropping planogram on time. Facilitate discussion within cross functional team to develop solutions to those obstacles, create action plan and lead the plan to execution.
• Create an official "Planogram kick off" letter that CMs will sent to vendors, providing them with key timelines and expectations they need to meet to ensure successful planogram execution.
• Run planogram analytics, assist in setting up planograms in the layout center and complete drawing process, including all cutbacks. Responsible to check in and finalize planograms as per the CRS, by supervising Category Specialists in the cleanup of any merchandising errors.
• Ensure compliance with planogram standards, and review the set with LP, Supply Chain, Private Brands and Signing teams to obtain approvals or direction for any changes to LY's set, prior to CM's official Planogram Walk Through with Director and VP.
• Support CM in development of the Planogram Walk Through Documents by providing key reports, the summary of the planogram linear footage and complexities, and drawing of the LY set.
• Perform Quality Control audits on all planogram drawings, including the ones submitted by vendors to ensure they follow corporate planogram standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.
