About The Position

The Micro Operator is a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s Purina Animal Nutrition manufacturing team. The role performs front-line production processes that add value and quality to inputs and create final products. Work includes operating machinery and equipment and packaging finished products. The position contributes to producing nutritional products for animal owners and producers throughout the United States.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful approach.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, including areas where dust and chemicals may be present.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
