About The Position

The Micro Operator is a front-line production role on Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, supporting the creation of high-quality products. The role involves processing raw materials into finished products, operating machinery and equipment, and packaging final products. It is part of the Purina Animal Nutrition business, which serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States with nutritional products and practices.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have one or more years of work experience in any industry.
• Have basic computer and math skills.
• Be able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Be willing to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Have strong collaboration and communication skills and be consistently respectful.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and insist on safe practices from oneself and others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Multitask and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow quality standards and standard operating procedures during production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Collaborate with and follow instructions from Leads and Management to complete daily work assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
