This role involves performing minor reactive repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. The position requires the ability to cut, weld, and fabricate, and to follow technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics. The employee will safely operate equipment associated with the manufacturing and demolition of conveyor systems, including fabrication/welding, and conduit and wiring installation and demolition. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, repairing, and constructing mechanical and electrical systems, and assisting with electrical components ranging from 12 volts DC to 480 volts AC. The role involves assisting with or following work plans for emergency repair of critical assets, coordinating with operations, locating parts/tools, and scheduling equipment time. Learning and becoming proficient with CMMS is also a requirement. The position requires assisting LGSTX Services and contractors with maintenance, modifications, and operations, while providing excellent customer service. General labor for material handling maintenance, clean-up, and maintaining a professional attitude are also expected. The employee must inform supervisors of problems, demonstrate flexibility, learn quickly, take direction, work with other departments, and maintain accurate records. Ensuring equipment and work areas are kept in good repair and appearance, and adhering to all operating procedures and safety regulations are crucial.
