About The Position

This role combines engineering expertise with data analysis to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant pipeline operations. The primary focus is on planning, executing, and analyzing pipeline pigging operations to ensure the integrity, efficiency, and safety of gas pipelines. This involves operating advanced inspection devices (pigs) to detect corrosion, cracks, blockages, and other defects, while coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain safe and uninterrupted flow. Experience in analyzing pigging inspection data and interpreting the results of pipeline pigging operations to assess pipeline integrity, detect defects, and support maintenance planning activities is crucial.

Requirements

  • Experience with planning, executing, and analyzing pipeline pigging operations to ensure the integrity, efficiency, and safety of gas pipelines.
  • Experience in operating advanced inspection devices (pigs) to detect corrosion, cracks, blockages, and other defects.
  • Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain safe and uninterrupted flow.
  • Experience in analyzing pigging inspection data and interpreting the results of pipeline pigging operations to assess pipeline integrity, detect defects, and support maintenance planning activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field and five years of related experience in project management, construction, contractor management or engineering.
  • A general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and seven years of related experience in project management, construction, contractor management or engineering; or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license in accordance with Company standards.
  • Ability to provide explanations of technical or other complex matters to people with little or no background in the area under discussion.
  • Ability to apply research methods, algorithms, and statistical and/or accounting methods to reconcile financial statements and accounts.
  • Advanced knowledge of various software applications to create complex documents, reports and graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision and oversight to various projects and conducts quality control audits of work performed to assure compliance with Company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates the planning and managing of projects in collaboration and conjunction with other functional areas including: Operations, Marketing, Engineering Services, Geographic Information Systems, Public, employee and pipeline safety, Regulatory Compliance, Gas Measurement, Corrosion Control, Information Technology/Telecommunications, Supply Chain/Procurement.
  • Selects, develops, inspires and evaluates the performance of assigned employees.
  • Provides specialized expertise on projects and related computer applications to staff and other operational areas.
  • Assists with the development and monitoring of division capital budgets.
  • Develops and monitors functional area budgets to assure efficient utilization of resources.
  • Plans, directs and reviews the achievement of area goals and objectives within established company policies.
  • Implements policies, procedures and standards to assure proper administration of activities.
  • Leads as a culture champion by promoting our vision, strategy, AtmoSpirit principles, and supporting wellness and safety initiatives.
  • Maintains adequate staffing levels to assure proper administration of activities.
