Position Summary The Manager, Strategic Projects serves as a key operational and strategic partner to the SVP, Property Management and the Property Management Leadership team, driving cross-functional priorities and translating leadership decisions into execution. This role independently plans, organizes, and leads advanced, complex, and confidential projects and initiatives, applying data-driven approaches and emerging technologies to deliver measurable results and improve decision-making across the department. Success in this role is measured by the quality and timeliness of strategic initiatives delivered, the effectiveness of cross-functional collaboration facilitated, and the ability to influence outcomes and drive execution across teams without direct authority.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in project management, strategic planning, or business operations; real estate or shopping center experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision, delivering results on time and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong project management, organizational and time management skills required.
  • Strategic business orientation while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct reporting authority.
  • Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, AI tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Work with SVP, Property Management, and other leaders as needed, to develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the value and operations of the portfolio, proactively identifying opportunities to drive efficiency, growth, and operational excellence.
  • Lead and execute high-priority, complex, and confidential projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning through delivery, with minimal direction and strong independent judgment.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of discretion and professionalism, exercising sound judgment on matters impacting senior leadership and the organization.
  • Develop and manage executive-level presentations, communications, and meeting frameworks that clearly convey strategic priorities and drive alignment across the leadership team.
  • Research, track, and synthesize analytics across traffic, sales performance, community programming, facility operations, and innovation opportunities, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Leverage AI tools, advanced technologies, and data-driven methodologies to improve decision-making, identify trends, and optimize outcomes across department initiatives.
  • Assist in creating annual department budget; track actuals against plan and investigate and resolve variances.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries on behalf of department leadership, ensuring timely, high-quality responses that reflect the department’s standards.
  • Streamline communication and process across teams, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, removing barriers to execution, and ensuring leadership decisions translate into action.
  • Model and reinforce the Company’s core values in all interactions, supporting leadership in building a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
