This position is responsible for establishing staffing complement and staff readiness to support a facility 24/7/365. The role involves recommending, improving, evaluating, maintaining, and administering maintenance and asset programs to support departmental and organizational missions. The incumbent will utilize management tools such as budget reports, CMMS dashboards, and energy usage/efficiency reporting, while adhering to all regulatory compliance codes. Responsibilities include scheduling and maintaining records for inspections, testing, maintenance, and drills, as well as evaluating and analyzing the root cause of building system failures and developing solutions. The role also assists in developing business unit and enterprise goals, staffing, incident prevention, and productivity standards, and develops departmental goals and objectives. Coordination of interdepartmental and intradepartmental services, maintaining excellent communication with administration, staff, patients, and families, and supporting the coordination and implementation of larger scale projects are key. The position manages an effective audit program for timely compliance and conducts routine team/staff meetings for training and information distribution. The role interfaces with site administration on monthly budget performance, productivity, and labor expenses.
