About The Position
Promote collaborative practice with other departments, facilities and schools of nursing. Exhibits the ability to work with others to find solutions to difficult human, technical or administrative problems. Must be able to adjust to and lead other through a rapidly changing environment. Responsible for advanced clinical educational activities that identifies and facilitates processes to address the learning needs of staff and community. Accountable for developing and monitoring standards, policies and procedures, and opportunities for staff development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Current Alabama nursing license required.
- Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience required.
- Experience in a Pediatric and/or Women’s Health setting required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP within 3 months.
- Instructor certification required within 6 months.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Advanced nursing education/certification recommended.
- Experience with the hospitals clinical computer documentation system preferred.
