About The Position

Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) provide counseling and behavioral health expertise to military Service Members and their families. This role is designed for flexible, ready-to-serve counselors who can respond quickly to needs. Leidos seeks licensed mental healthcare providers for a flexible PRN-type schedule, offering preventative, solution-focused counseling to address issues before they escalate. Counselors may support adults or minors in various settings, including embedded with military units, supporting families, or working in schools. The Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) model allows counselors to focus on their passion for helping others without administrative burdens, with assignments being at the counselor's discretion. This specific position is a backfill for an existing MFLC on leave, serving Service Members and families at Twentynine Palms, CA, as an interim opportunity.
