About The Position

Under general supervision, repairs and maintains machinery and equipment such as motors, pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems and production machines. Specializes in electrical and controls automation systems. If you have prior experience in a maintenance role, we encourage you to apply for this position today. A day in the Life: Assist Sr. Maintenance technicians, when necessary, in the installation or repairs of utilities systems and equipment Follow quality standards in accordance with company policy and cGMP and FDA requirements. Performs small tasks associated with office or equipment relocating work orders. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment promptly and thoroughly to minimize downtime Complete all maintenance work in compliance with site safety procedures including lock-out-tag-out, hot work, confined spaces, etc

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent minimally required.
  • 1 year of proven maintenance experience and/or combination training in the following trades: electrical, electronics/controls, mechanical, machine shop or plumbing.
  • Experience with PC applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work well with minimal direction.
  • Ability to use hand and machine shop tools.
  • Ability to train others by technical means and by example.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to efficiently present information in one-on-one and small group situations and to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to address practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop skills, learns time management, sets goals and meets them.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards.
  • Close vision is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Trades certificates/diplomas or degrees preferred but experience can be substituting in lieu of the certificates/degrees.
