About The Position

Operates a Chain Finishing Machine to process chain to specification for inspection. Load/Unloads full/empty chain spools, doffs full jumgo chain zundos. Performs scheduled detailed cleaning for operational safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Required to stand, walk, stoop/bend, reach/stretch, climb, use hands and arms to lift objects and /or materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• May be required to occasionally push materials or product that weigh up to 1030 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Loads machines with full chain spools, confirms job card and items are correct.
• Moves chain to assigned inspection area when doffed.
• Determines that machines are running to set standards including troubleshooting and repairing of non-mechanical problems.
• Ensures that temp, wax, soap and water levels are maintained to standards.
• Performs quality checks when loading/unloading.
• Performs scheduled detailed cleaning for operational safety.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
