About The Position

This role involves performing various metrology tasks to ensure measurement system accuracy, support engineering trials, conduct physical testing, and maintain calibration of measurement tools. The technician will be responsible for detailed dimensional inspections and ensuring all measurement activities are accurate and well-organized. The position requires independent work with minimal supervision while managing inspection priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform Gage R&R studies on new variable gauging to ensure measurement system accuracy and repeatability.
• Measure parts for Capability studies (Cp, Cpk), Engineering trials, Design of Experiments (DOE), providing data for analysis by Quality Engineering.
• Perform physical testing of plastic injection molded products and document/report results.
• Carry out detailed dimensional inspections to support engineers in troubleshooting mold and tooling issues.
• Support and maintain calibration of all measurement tools and equipment that directly affect part quality.
• Ensure all measurement activities are conducted with a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Work Independently with minimal supervisor while effectively managing inspection priorities and deadlines.
