About The Position

As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment, overseeing its installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance. You will also stay current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues, study equipment performance and reliability, and establish programs for increasing uptime and resolving equipment problems. Additionally, you will provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, and define and write preventative maintenance schedules.

Requirements

Experience as an Equipment Engineer
Ability to evaluate, select, and order appropriate and cost-effective equipment
Skills in overseeing installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
Knowledge of equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
Ability to study equipment performance and reliability
Capability to establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and resolving equipment problems
Experience providing technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
Ability to define and write preventative maintenance schedules

Responsibilities
