Metrology Equipment Engineer (DMOS6)
About The Position
As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. This role requires staying current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues, as well as studying and improving equipment performance and reliability. You will establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and addressing equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Additionally, you will provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, evaluate, select, and order appropriate and cost-effective equipment, and define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Experience as an Equipment Engineer
- Ability to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance
- Awareness of equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
- Skills in studying and improving equipment performance and reliability
- Ability to establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and equipment problems
- Capability to provide technical support to repair and process engineering organizations
- Experience in evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment
- Proficiency in defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
