About The Position

The Metrology Database Support Engineer manages, configures, updates, and maintains the calibration recall database. The role works with employees across multiple sites to update and configure the calibration recall system, creates custom reports for internal processes and customer communications, and updates records to maintain data integrity and accuracy. The engineer also supports the metrology team with customer-related data entry and analysis and develops and maintains department metrics around key performance indices. This is an onsite U.S.-based role in Tucson, Arizona. An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before starting; U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility. The candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain ATF access and be able to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued clearance before the start date.

Requirements

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF).
Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to the start date.

Nice To Haves

Experience or education in metrology, product test, quality, or software support, with an emphasis on quality compliance.
Experience in the field of metrology.
Ability to manage databases and program in SQL.
Knowledge of Pascal/Delphi, VBScript, VBA, Power Query, C, C++, PowerShell, HTBasic, or Power BI.
Experience with web design and IT support.
