About The Position

We are looking for a Methods Supervisor to lead the development of CNC manufacturing processes, production documentation, and technical support activities. In this role, you will supervise the Methods team while working closely with Production, Quality, and programming to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality CNC manufacturing operations. You will play a key role in improving processes, solving technical challenges, and ensuring production readiness across all manufacturing activities.

Requirements

  • College diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aircraft Manufacturing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment
  • Experience in a technical or senior/lead role (supervisory experience is an asset)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar)
  • Experience with ERP systems (JobBoss is an asset)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate across multiple departments
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Methods team in daily priorities, workload planning, and technical execution
  • Oversee the development of machining and assembly processes based on engineering drawings and customer requirements
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and ERP routings
  • Approve technical deliverables including manufacturing, assembly, and inspection documentation (AS9100 / FAI compliant)
  • Coordinate resolution of production and manufacturing issues with internal teams and suppliers
  • Lead root cause analysis of non-conformities and ensure effective corrective actions
  • Support the design and validation of tooling, fixtures, and inspection setups
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and standardization
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and company procedures
