About The Position

Heroux-Devtek is seeking a Methods Intern for Summer 2026. This role is located in Longueuil, on the South Shore of Montreal. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Technician, or Aircraft Manufacturing Technician.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Catia software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Autonomy and initiative.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of English due to necessary communications with international suppliers, clients, auditors, and other subsidiaries.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of 3Dvia Composer software

Responsibilities

  • Design retaining fixtures and various tooling using CATIA software
  • Update tooling drawings
  • Update 3D assembly techniques
  • Update operational sketches using CATIA software
  • Participate in any other related tasks to support the Methods Department
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders: Methods Technicians, Technical Specialists, and Production Floor Workers.
