About The Position

Join the Methods Engineering team supporting the production of the De Havilland DHC Aircrafts. This role offers hands-on experience in manufacturing support, technical documentation, and digital data preparation. Ideal for students seeking real-world exposure to aerospace manufacturing processes. Strong preference for students who are able to commit to an 8-month co-op term beginning in September, 2026, open to 4-months.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering program.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Experience in CAD software.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Able to commit to an 8-month co-op term beginning in September, 2026, open to 4-months.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings to support manufacturing.
  • Create work instructions and annotated workbooks using CAD tools.
  • Digitize legacy hand-drawn drawings using scanning equipment and verify against existing tools/parts.
  • Use 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) for data preparation.
  • Handle multiple tasks with proper prioritization in a production environment.
  • Communicate with other departments to clarify technical details and resolve issues.
