RVA's Transportation team is looking for students to join their team for a co-op position during Fall 2026 at our Niagara Office. Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in a civil engineering program at an accredited university or college.
Must have a valid G Class Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
Knowledge about traffic analysis as a part of traffic impact studies.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation/AutoTURN is an asset.

Responsibilities

Assist in pre-engineering site surveys and inspection during the construction.
Design of roads, rail, sewers, watermains and municipal infrastructure projects.
Help prepare AutoCAD and MicroStation design drawings.
Provides office support during the construction stage of projects.
Assist with quantity calculations and preparing tender documents.
Collation of Traffic data and background information.
Conduct site visits.
Assist in traffic analysis.
Conduct AutoTURN analysis and creation of report exhibits.
Assist project team in preparing memorandum/report.
