About The Position

TruCheck is a subsidiary organization of Sparus Holdings. Sparus Holdings is a leading provider of outsourced field and professional services primarily focused on the gas and electric utility markets. TruCheck is a national contract services organization that has delivered high-quality meter service solutions to electric, gas, and water utilities across the country for over 30 years. Tru-Check Inc. (a nationwide utility services company) is seeking to fill several entry-level positions in the Denver Metro area. These positions will be reading electric and natural gas meters. Requires driving and walking skills in all types of weather and across all types of terrain. We're looking for safety-minded, energetic, dependable, hardworking, customer friendly people that enjoy working independently and outdoors.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide a VALID, Unexpired Driver’s License.
• H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening AND background check.
• Possess excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Be comfortable using computers/technology.

Nice To Haves

• No experience necessary, paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Physically or remotely gathering onsite electric and natural gas meter billing information.
• Extensive driving throughout the Denver metro area.
• Meet strict deadlines for completing meter reading routes.
• Ability to walk 5+ miles per day.
• Work in all types of weather conditions i.e.: rain, sleet, snow, extreme heat.
• Ability to deal with wildlife and animals is required.
• Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day.
• Carry up to 20lbs of equipment.
• Effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Performs all work in a safe manner.
• Observes and follows all company/client procedures.
