About The Position
As our Metallurgical Intern, you will work with the metallurgical department on various improvement projects throughout the mill, as well as work with on-stream analyzer operations and laboratory testing methods. Internships occur between May and September 1, 2027. You will be a part of team you can rely on, a team that will have your back.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in school for the Fall 2026 semester in metallurgy, or related field.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing.
- Must possess current authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Offer support with numerous projects through the mill, as well as work with on-stream analyzer operations and laboratory testing methods.
- Work with mill operators, forming plans to achieve optimum metallurgical performance in all circuits and process data storage, retrieval, trending, and on-line mass balancing.
- Inspect every piece of equipment and each work area before starting the day for your safety and the safety of your team.
